    Did the job

Put them under the deck box on my deck. Allows deck boards to dry completely after rain. Easy to snap together. Much heavier than I expected.

    Works as greenhouse floor

We purchased these on sale to use as a floor in a greenhouse over a gravel bed. It was definitely time consuming to get them reasonably level and they didn’t all click together. However, that was certainly because of how we are using them. That said, we are very happy with them so far.

    Great but slippery when wet

I ordered these because they were clearance! They are amazing but they do get pretty slippery when wet we did a cross pattern so they are not all in the same direction. I recommend these !

Q: I just wanted to confirm that if I purchase 2 packages that it will completely cover the 11x11 square foot area that I have Thanks

    • A: I would purchase three packs to be on the safe side. Keep one unopened and you can always return it if you don't need it.

    Q: how many packages will I need for a 12 X 12 area?

    2 Answers
    • A: You would require 24 packs of 6 tiles. 6 square feet per pack X 24 Packs = 144 square feet which is 12 feet x 12 feet. Get 1 or 2 extra packs to keep on hand in case of breakage or any other situation you come across.

Q: Can these be used to replace a wood deck surface by being attached to the joists. Or can they only be placed over the deck boards? I have a solid deck but some of the surface boards are rotten and need to be replaced. My deck is about 4 feet high.

Q: How do these hold up during the winter ? are they slippery ? can you shovel snow on them without incident ? when it rains, does that make them slippery/dangerous to walk on ?

    • A: They hold up well during the winter but our deck is covered. I am unable to answer the questions about slipperiness.

Q: How many boxes we need to cover 20ftnlong and 8ft wide area?

    2 Answers
    • A: If each tile is 1' x 1' and there is 6 to a box and you have a area that is 160 square feet basic math would tell me you would need 26 boxes to cover your area.

Q: Can these be installed right on the ground, or would they need a barrier underneath?

    2 Answers
    • A: It's difficult installing over non-level surfaces like soil or grass because the interconnecting tile clips are less likely to hold them in place. The tiles will lift relative to each other, causing trip hazards.  So, it's best to ensure the surface is as level as possible.  Agreed that a weed barrier material should be used underneath.  This product is best installed over concrete or bitumen roofing (on balconies and terraces).  There are more heavy duty products by the same manufacturer (Multy Home) that are better to install on the ground (grass/soil).

Q: I have the same question as above - it looks to me like the coverage area of one pack of tiles would be 6 sq ft, not 13+. Can someone let me know if this is correct?

    2 Answers
    • A: Yes, the coverage area of one pack is 6 sqft.  Always add 5-10% wastage (of total surface area) to your order.

Q: Our deck is in full sun most of the day, do they retain heat and too hot to walk on barefoot?

    1 Answer
    • A: They do heat up some, but we definitely have no problem walking on our deck. This is the second balcony/deck (east and south facing) we've used them on. Love them.
