A: Absolutely! You can cut the Reusable COOKINA Barbecue Grilling Mat to the desired size; do not cover the entire surface of the BBQ or Smoker, making sure to leave space all around the mat to allow adequate heat-flow.

A: I don’t think so. The instructions that come with it say “Do not place in direct contact with flames, burners or heating elements.” Hope this helps.

A: It's made of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric. PTFE also known as Teflon is the same high temp plastic coating that is used in non sticking cookware. Good for up to 500° F

Q: BBQs always have flames, will the flame ruin the mat?

A: Any contact with a direct flame or flareups will damage the sheet rapidly but you can avoid them easily by only using Low-Med heat and wiping off excess liquids. The sheet prevents most flareups and also cook perfectly using indirect heat coming from the controlled flames below.
