About as bad as it gets

This thing. First of all, it's not well-built and has areas right around the plates that catch hair and rip it out by the roots. That was enough to send me to the Returns desk. If that isn't bad enough, it doesn't get as hot as straighteners costing half as much, the digital temperature setting resets every time you unplug it or even just shut it off, and (the pièce de resistance) the Off button is on the grip exactly where a right-handed person would normally hold on to the iron while using it. Whoever designed it was simply not thinking.
