Not compatible with older system

I had hoped to just replace the shelf of the older model that had become sticky over the years but I couldn’t just replace the shelf because it didn’t fit the old supports and the new supports would require new holes and didn’t fit the space. I just cleaned the old shelves and am now stuck with two shelves I can’t return because the package is open
