Not practical

Slots are not big enough for pairs of shoes. Bought this for my kids (toddlers) shoes and the spaces are very snug. The backing is a piece of cardboard and not easy to nail in. It’s as though the piece is too small for the frame. Ended up damaging the frame because the nails went right through to the painted part. I

Good storage

I decided to turn the unit on its side. These shoes are a variety of ladies size 7. Pairs of running shoes are a bit of a snug fit, but can be done.

No more shoes lying around !

Good buy. Sturdy enough. Space is large enough for a pair of children's shoes or one adult runner. I will buy a second one to have more space. I finally found a cheap solution for storing shoes that were lying around in the entryway. I ordered it online and picked it up at the store the same day. Easy peasy :)

Small Cubes

Was hoping the cubes will fit 1 pair of adult shoe but it can only fit a pair of kid shoe. It is small in height as well, so the space above is wasted. Not useful. Assembly was bit tricky but not complicated, to put the cardboard cubes in the main square frame.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I love this storage unit. It fits into the bottom of my closet, and doesn't get in the way of the clothes I have on my closet rack. I can get quite a lot of pairs of shoes in this unit, as well as put other shoes and bags and purses, etc., on the top of it. It is very sturdy.
