Chicco NaturalFit® All You Need Starter Set

I was pleased overall with this set. I needed to supplement with a bottle within my baby’s first two weeks. He switched easily between breast and bottle. The biggest problem that I had was that the nipple kept collapsing while the baby ate. For some reason it wasn’t venting correctly. I loved the cleaning brush and the sanitizer. However, the handle of the sanitizer was hard to grasp. Overall I like this product even with the “glitches.”

I bought this for my girlfriend's shower and it was a hit. It's a great starting point...you get your slow flowing bottles for when your little one is a newborn but also get some of the larger/faster flowing bottles for later down the road. It allows you to sample a sterilizer, some pacis, a 2 in 1 brush and storage lids for your bottles. IMO it's a great bang for your buck, very useful for a new parent and a great gift idea.

We really enjoyed the nipples on these bottles, as the flow rate and the texture were both preferred by our son over other bottles. The bottle brush seemed to hold up well. We haven't used the sterilizer for the microwave because we prefer to wash everything by hand and sterilize accordingly. The adjustable flow rates for the bottles were nice, and we found that our son will also grow into those. He did NOT prefer the pacifiers over his other pacifiers. While the construction of these seemed solid, the hook on the end of the pacifiers was extremely annoying while wearing our child in a carrier, as it would get caught and cause the pacifier to fall out. Overall, we probably wouldn't pay for these in a store.

There is a lot to like about this set, but it's not perfect. This is a great, all-in-one set that will save you from having to do a lot of research and trial and error on each individual item. The fact that it comes with it's own case that doubles as a sterilizer is very convenient. I especially loved the little container for carrying and protecting the pacifiers; of which were a big hit with my little one, at 3 months old she could suck on the pacifiers by herself without assistance, thanks to the ring, she would even occasionally grip them rather than letting them fall to the floor. Everything is made in Italy which gives more peace of mind towards the safety of the food-grade silicone. Now for the negative... the bottles weren't ideal. I was excited by the shape, it's pretty ingenious to have the newborn bottles curve so that you can hold them upright and not struggle to get the bottom of the milk into a laying-down baby. Our daughter had no issue adjusting to the different shaped nipple, she happily drank away from it on the first try. However, the nipples frequently caved in and required constantly having to pull it from our daughters mouth to fix. It was awkward to line up the nipple of the bottle with the ring that holds it in place, which can easily lead to a lot of leaking. I think the air holes designed to prevent air bubbles getting into the milk also created an odd suction that would pull away the last of the milk from the nipple when she was sucking on it. The brush works well enough for cleaning, though I don't understand the decision to only have bristles on one side of the wand rather than all of the way around, it also would have been great to have a stand to store it on the counter rather than having to set up a special hook. Another odd choice in a set that seems to have considered a lot. It's a well-rounded set, I believe it would be a great starter for a new Mom as it includes many necessary items, but I can't fully recommend it with the issues we had with the bottles. It's possibly this may not be an issue with everyone, but the fact that they cave in so easily when in use seems like a big flaw.

I like how compact this set came and how much was included in the box. I did not love the bottles for my son but I think he is more used to the Tommee Tippee bottles we started him on. There were no issues but personal preference I didn't love the brand. Not to say someone else wouldn't like them though! I like the fact that you can put the whole case into the microwave though, that makes travel with a baby more convenient.
