I use it to top up my solar batteries in the fall. Perfect size and very quiet! Easy to start, easy to see load size.

The 2000 watt generator is perfect when there is a power outage. I use it to run a small lamp, induction stove top, my little fridge, TV, laptop, and coffee maker. The inverter is great for running sensitive electronics like a laptop. I really like it came included with a jug of oil to change oil after the "break-in" period, it is the little things that help! On a full tank of fuel it lasts about 12 hours.

I use it for small jobs running anything from vacuum to polishing machine. On odd occasion recharge my batteries for drill.

Bought this to use with my holiday trailer to run the water pump and heater. Was pleasantly surprised to find that it ran the air conditioner almost to as cold as it could go which is way too cold for me. Hoping to try it out with the I 125 inverter welder. So far it has exceeded my expectations

The generator worked well for movie nights out in the neighborhood parks. Quiet, and efficient when running in Eco mode. Capacity and fuel gauge fairly accurate. When the load fluctuates you will notice the running time adjust. Great feature with all the lights to help in dark!!

Q: Does it work with fuel & butane? If there is a power outage during winter time can it be installed on an outdoor patio & run extension cord inside the house for heater?

A: It runs on mid grade gasoline or higher. As far as set up yes it has to be run outside the house and extension cord run inside, with a max out put of 1650 watts running a heater will pretty much max it out, as most heaters are 1500 watts.

A: First of all i should qualify that i only have one of these generators, and have not connected to another. That said my understanding is the Champion units with Para link can be run together. in fact they can run two different sized units together as well. There are some good ytube videos that discuss this. As for the generator itself i can say i am quite happy with the unit, it runs well, is easy to start and provides the power as indicated. Good luck.

Q: Will this unit automatically shut off if it overheats? Or has low oil etc?

A: it has a low oil level indicator on the power panel and will shut if level is low .i don't think there's a high temp warning but i've never heard of an air cooled portable gen. overheat.

Q: is this powerfull enough to run a sump pump and standard sise fridge and maybe a oil furnace

A: It should be fine for sump and fridge as they use little amperage. For the furnace, you would need to find out it its 120V or 240V. Also need to know initial amp draw of the oil furnace blower motor and make sure it does not exceed the amps of the generator.
