Defective fixture

The glass jars don't tighten securely and I couldn't get 1 of them to attach at all as the screw wouldn't tighten due to the hole being off centre. Had to take it down after 45minutes of putting it up. Very disappointed as this was the 2nd defective light from Cdn Tire I've tried in the past few days!

Bought this and about after three months the mason jar glass cracked and shattered all over my floor during the day when no one was home. Luckily, my pup did not go near it or get any glass in his foot. Went back to CT to get a replacement and yet again another jar cracked after about six months. NOT WORTH IT.

Broken light fixture

Had this light a few months and the shade fell off and broke cause the glass jar doesn’t attach to the fixture properly. Not happy with this product

No replacement pieces

The jar fell off with out even a breeze in the house. No replacement pieces to top it off. Not worth the buy if you have to buy a new fixture just for a stupid jar. Not happy.

Heat from bulbs cracked jars

Two days after installing the light all three jars cracked and fell off due to the expansion and contraction caused by the heat the Edison bulbs transfers to the "metal" lids. We finally figured out what was happening by the time the third jar fell. All three cracked and fell at night (cooler) after turning the light off. Will try and c if the company will come good for it...or if they have a fix.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Are there replacements for the glass jar? One broke, it appears to have a weakness along the seam before the mouth. I get that it isn't the highest quality glass but I do like the lamp and would rather just replace the jar over the entire fixture.

A: Yes it can. Just need to unscrew the black plastic clamp, pull on wire until you are satisfied with the length. Once satisfied, screw the clamp.
