Decent lights, but a giant pain to set up and mount

These work best for a very high ceiling where you can space out the lights. Without spacing them out the glass globes bounce against each other. I didn't realize how big of a problem this was going to be until I got it home and tried to figure out the best way to arrange it. I ended up adding a chrome piece (actually a chrome sprocket from a bike) on the middle light which forced all the outside lights out a little more. This allowed me to keep them from hitting each other and still kept them high enough. Mild electrical work is required as well to adjust the lights. There is no way that all the excess wiring would fit inside a junction box, so once you know how you want them, you have to trim all the wires and re-connect them. All said and done, it looks good, but it was a giant pain to get there.

Super bright in a dark kitchen

I bought this for my dark kitchen and I love it. It’s very bright and only use 40 watt bulbs, 60 watts is way too bright. I had someone who knows how to install and is electrician. Worth it all around.

Wish it worked for us!

Beautiful light, but did not work for our space. Although the height of the fixture is technically adjustable, there was just too much cord (roughly 4.5 ft) hanging and not enough room in the casing to fit the amount we needed to shorten it to. I've attached a picture to show just how long it was.

A little patience for a brilliant shine!

As with the 1st review, this fixture needs much patience and TLC when getting it to your required length. Installation papers were easy to follow (easier if you've installed fixtures in the past) and yes the glass covers need extra handling care. However, once you get it up and bulbs in, it is quite the brilliant talk piece. Like a work of art on it's own!!

Q: the box says it is adjustable. how do you adjust the length?

A: Each of the cords need to be cut and adjusted accordingly. I would recommend an electrician or someone with experience. This isn't something that you would want to do as your first project.

A: Yes, you can install just 5 shades if you prefer. The fixture is pre-wired with 7 lights however.

Q: Can you use an equivalent led bulb for this light fixture? what bulb would that be?

A: Yes, the LED bulb must be an E26 base bulb. Due to the shape of the glass, a shorter bulb will look best with this fixture design.

A: Yes, the glass shades can easily be removed by taking out the bulbs and unscrewing the plastic coupler inside the shade. They can be cleaned with soap and water.

A: Yes, this light will provide plenty of light for bathroom use. Each light is adjustable so it can be tailored to fit various spaces. When installing, we recommend a licensed installer.

Q: the light drop can be adjusted from 40 - 175 cm. How is this possible without coiling the wires.

A: The height is adjustable. To do this, you simply set the desired length before hanging the fixture by pulling the wires through the top of the canopy and coiling the wire inside the canopy. Once this is completed, then you can proceed to the next step by securing the fixture to the electrical box using the hardware provided.

A: Tthis unit can be installed on a slated ceiling and the chords can be adjusted to accommodate the glass globes. Having said that, you should check with a licensed electrician to confirm that the installation is appropriate for your particular wall/ set up.
