I bought two of these to replace a very good set we had that over the years had pieces go missing and I have to say I am not impressed. The quality of this flatware set definitely does not stand up to the cost. There are black marks in between the grooves on almost every piece. Of course none of them were the ones that were displayed in the front of the box. I don’t know if it’s just our Canadian tire but in the past when trying to return some items I have found that they try to disallow it and I have to ask for the manager. Why does this need to be? I’m a very non confrontational person and that makes me very uncomfortable. I anticipated that happening on this item so I just chose to keep it. My advice is to save your money and buy a quality brand like Oneida (the pieces that haven’t gone missing are still in fantastic shape after 14 years).
