I bought this cabinet on sale and am very happy with it! It took under 2 hours to put together, but was straightforward. It looks fairly high end, given the affordable price. The charcoal grey works well with my existing black dining table and grey chairs. The only drawback is the shelves have a weight limit of 34-37 lbs (per shelf). That aside, I’d recommend this unit for medium duty.

Problem door

Bought this in march 2018, after putting it together i noticed that the glass panel on one of the cabinet doors was not attached properly. I contacted the manufacturer to try to get a replacement part and was told that i would have to wait 3 months, as the part is not available in canada and has to be shipped from china. It is now july and i am still waiting. Cabinet looks great, but not impressed with timeline to get the part.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is this unit lockable or can you buy a lock to secure both doors? I can’t seem to find out if there os an arm that folds into the device on the door. Would appreciate any information on how the door opens and if that is a latch that holds an arm to secure

A: The cabinet does not lock. We do not recommend that you install a locking device, as you would have to drill holes in the unit. Please see attached images.

Q: Hi, what is the height from the floor to the top of the solid door on the lower portion of the cabinet? There is one shelf in the bottom portion - what is the height of the shelf space and can additional shelves be ordered? tx

A: The height from the floor to the top of the solid door is 31.42" and For the bottom portion,the height of the shelf space is 1.20". and no additional shelves can be ordered.

Q: It only has four tiny feet; is it tippy? Does it need to be attached to the wall?

A: Hello Deebs, the Axel metal cabinet does have tiny feet but it will still be sturdy standing up, we do include a anti-tip kit to keep this from tipping if there is any chances of someone pulling on an item on the unit.
