The hose looks good, brand new, no visual defect, however when plugged into the 110V outlet, smoke came out of the electric plug. in 10 seconds the rv was engulfed in thick smoke, and with a strong burning smell, just as the GFI breaker disconnected. The see thru plug ended black. It was scary, could have lost the trailer. I do not recommend this product. .

Looks like a quality hose however after trying it for 8 days we couldn’t stand the horrible plastic taste. We tried it for 8 days then returned it.

Q: How hot does this warm the water? Thinking about using it to give the dogs a bath outside.

A: This heated hose is used during winter freezing temps and stops the hose from freezing, does not really heat up the water.

Q: How many amps does this draw. Would it be safe to plug in multiple hoses on a 20 amp circuit?

A: This hose will pull less than 2 amps. We recommend plugging directly into a GFCI protected outlet. Would not recommend plugging more than 2 heating cables into the same outlet.
