This is my second one. The first one lasted me about 15 years of steady use. I was so pleased with my first one, that once it quit working, I bought a duplicate juicer. The new one works just as well, and hopefully works as long as my first. I do recommend this juicer and company.

Great juicer

I’ve had this juicer for over 5 years. I’m inconsistent with juicing but when I juice, I juice for several months at a time. The juicer has consistently stood the test of time and works without issue. It is the most consistent thing in my regime and I’m glad that whenever I pick back up, it is there and is super helpful without issue.

Q: One review stated that it grinds the skins and pulp, what does it do with the pitts in some berries? I use a lot of chokecherries and they have large pitts. Would these damage the machine in any way?

A: Because the blade is spinning at such a high RPM, the chances that the spinning blade may send a pit flying inside the plastic chamber causing it to crack, is quite high. Not only that, but you'll definitely wear out the blade quicker.

Q: How long will the juice last for, once refrigerated?

A: It pretty much lasts the same amount of time the fruit/veggies would in the fridge unjuiced. If they're on the verge of going bad you'll want to drink it right away, with fresh produce our juice lasts for days. It will separate though so you'll need to mix it.

Q: Does this juicer separate the skin of the fruits and veggies from the the actual juice produced?

A: Yes this juicer grinds and separates the "water" from the fruit and vegetables. It leaves a dry pulp by product in the catch basin. In my experience the pulp is dry and most of the water is extracted from the produce you juice. Save it and use it for baking muffins. You will have the most fiber healthy and moist muffins ever.
