My old coffee maker stopped working so I bought this one. I don’t like it because it doesn’t count down how much time is left before it shuts down. I called Braun about this. The rep wasn’t very sympathetic and just said that’s the way it is. My old coffee maker had a display showing how much time was left. So this time I bought a more expensive one, and it doesn’t have this feature. Very disappointing. Thinking of returning it. Thank you.

Not a good one if you like to unplug each day.

Makes good coffee but... if you like to unplug your coffee maker after use for safety reasons, this one is a pain. Every time you plug it in anew, you must press the on button, set the time to, at a minimum, midnight, and only then will it stop flashing and allow you to make coffee in such a way that it will auto off. Otherwise it just flashes eternally and since no clock is working no auto off can work. Also, when it says it wants to be cleaned, it's not making a suggestion. You will be running a clean cycle because you can't make coffee. So... yeah, would rather I hadn't but since I'm stuck with it, we're learning to live with it. At least the coffee is good.

No, I do not recommend this product.

3 year warranty! capable of iced coffee.

I just recently purchased this item, and so far it's been really good. I'll know more after a proper trial. Coffee makers don't last long in our house. The last 3 I had were Cuisinart and they didn't last, even the expensive ones seem to have short lifespan. This product has a 3 year warranty, so hopefully it lasts longer.

Makes a very loud clicking noise all the time.

I bought this and after two weeks we returned it because it's the noisiest thing ever. After you brew your coffee it makes this non stop annoying clicking noise overtime the element turns on and off. Other than that it worked as it should.

  • A: It will, yes. You can set it for 2 and 4 hours. However, this coffee pot only lasted us one year, so we bought a second one and it did the same.
