Turned Yard Work From a Chore To A Hobby

This hedge trimmer, and the pole saw I purchased around the same time, have been an absolute joy to use. It's rare for me to reach summer without a back injury, but so far so good, and I'm grateful for these tools. I don't have to get on ladders and I don't have to squat or bend with my big hedge trimmer. I also have the 40v string trimmer and leaf blower, and i swear these lightweight, battery powered tools have turned yard work from a chore to a hobby. Best tip: Practice balancing the tool - it's not as heavy as it feels.

Q: does the extension arm detach so you can use the trimmer body like a normal trimmer?
