Bionaire Cube Warm & Cool Mist Humidifier, 2.7-L

I've had this humidifier for a few years now. I use it for my office and it still operates as intended. It holds a good sized volume of water. It's quiet. It has all the features I would want and no more. It is a little tricky to clean. I would recommend.

So I filled the Bionaire BU7500 Series Humidifier up with water at about 9pm, and It put it in my bedroom. I then went to sleep. At 4am the Humidifier beeped. I was angry for the unit beeping and waking me up. Who wants to buy a Humidifier where it can only run from 9pm to 4am. There is no way to stop the beeping when the unit runs out of water. If your going to design a hudmifier which is to be placed in a bedroom, don't have it make sounds and at least size the water tank to run for a two or three days.

Bizarrement, je l'ai essayé durant 1 semaine et jamais il n'a produit de vapeur chaude. toujours froide. même après l'attente de 30 minutes indiquée dans le manuel (J'ai attendu plus de 2h). Ensuite, en démarrant l'appareil, le taux d'humidité qu'il indique est beaucoup trop élevé (65%) alors que j'ai 2 hygromètres qui indiquent ~55%. Et à long terme, plus de 4h, l'appareil indique un taux de 55% et n'augmente jamais par la suite, même en humidification continue avec le bouton brume chaude activé. Et mes hygromètres personnels ont monté jusqu'à 65%. La pièce est une chambre d'enfant, 11 x 12, rien de plus normal comme pièce à humidifier.

I bought this a few days ago from Canadian Tire and I love it. The air quality in my bedroom is definitely much better now and I can feel the difference when I breathe. I don't need it for the warm mist function so I haven't used that yet. I love the features. You can have it mist constantly or you can set the humidity you want your room to be and it mists according to that. I love the size and look of it. It's lightweight and the tank is so easy to refill. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a humidifier for a medium sized room, like a bedroom. I just put mine on a little side table so it's not right on the floor. :)

I've been looking for a warm mist digital humidifier for medium to large rooms ever since I learned my (favourite# but now broken model was been discontinued. After much searching and reading reviews, I tried this Bionaire Cube Warm/Cool Mist Humidifier. Sadly, I won't be keeping it. Pros: - Gorgeous to look at - Easy to fill and use - Adjustable fan and mist controls, including direction of mist - Very quiet - Great options! Cons: - Should use distilled water to avoid white residue and bacteria growth #which I was willing to accept# BUT: - After 5 hours, the mist #set on "warm" right from turning it on# was still cooler than room temperature. - Mist doesn't go very high and just falls to the floor #looks really cool though, like dry ice "fog"# which unfortunately makes the floor damp and my laminate floor slick #about a 2' sq area underneath and in front of the unit#. I'm sure if I had run it overnight, the floor would have been wet, not just damp. I even put it on a stand to try to get moisture in the air and not just on the floor, but no luck. - After 5 hours on "high" in a closed 500 sq ft room, humidity had not reached 50%. It's just not robust enough to humidify the air before your floor is soaked, and in no way can you call the mist "warm". If you want cool mist, have a smaller room and have somewhere higher to put it than chair height; the look, options and quiet operation may be worth the draw-backs, but it does not meet my needs #based on what they promise on the box#
