This is a good quality air purifier. It does a good job reduces dust and cat hair from the air. Great if you can get it on clearance price.

Returned after 2 weeks

Bought this unit 2 weeks ago, ended up returning today due to a horrible noise that was coming from the motor (possibly a bad bearing).

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great Air Purifier

We got this a few months ago and really like the way it works and the job of removing odors and dust from the air in the house, we got one for the living room and one for our bedroom, I find when pollen is happening I don't notice as much, so for that reason among others it's a great buy.

Good Product

We have a smaller one level home and with 3 dogs we needed something to help with air quality. Along with the central heat the air was causing us to wake up in the morning with congestion in our throats. After a few days I noticed the air quality was much better. The big thing was the change in the odor from the dogs. It's always tough to get the "wet dog" smell out and this machine has done a great job of that. I like the fact that it has an ionizer and the smell from the ionizer really helps as well. Its pricy but you get what you pay for. Even though our house is smaller I would still want to use one more of these machines in another area of the house to really help the air quality. The only complaint is that its a little bit louder than I would have expected. Overall good product.

Q: HYDRO USEAGE This might be impossible to answer. If this unit was running 24 hours a day, how much would it add to the average hydro bill?

Q: Where to buy replacement carbon filters? Canadian Tire sells replacement AER1 Hepa filters, but I don't see the carbon filters available in stores. These need to be replaced every 3-4 months, and are specified as model AOR31 in the manual.

A: Canadian Tire does sell replacement pre-filters( 43-5099) . These can be cut to size and used with multiple models.
