dial no longer works

2nd brand new TS8000 that won’t light
a year ago
This is the 2nd torch I have bought. The first one lit for a while 5 or 6 uses, then stopped lighting. Worked fine if lit with a secondary ignition source but not the auto lighter. Took it back to store and they replaced it. This one won’t light at all with auto ignition. I’ve checked tube, adjusted ignition wire. If the tip is taken off it lights fine but as soon is the tip is put on the auto ignition cannot light it, even if it is warmed up.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great for Daily Dabbing

I've had mine for over 10 years now, with almost 98%daily usage, and multiple times those days. Thing is a beast. Have only ever used the propane cylinders. Used on 1/3" Titanium and up to 1" Quartz, both red hot. Only now am I starting to have trouble with the ignition, but nothing a few more clicks won't fix.
I also quite often use it in cooking, whether it's heating up a cast iron pan, adding a nice singe to hotdogs/glizzies, or roasting some peppers on some prongs, this baby does it all.

Clogged Tip

At the time of purchase I was excited for this product because it had the igniter built in to the torch handle and I used it once the solder dripped down into and landed in the tip of the torch after the first use. I was a little disappointed because I had spent a considerable amount of money buying the kit.
I haven't been able to use this torch since.
