I got a bad unit

I think I got a bad unit. It was just a couple months old and the toast wasn't staying down. If you held the plunger and let the toaster warm up a little, it would then stay down. But the other day, I was shaking the toast to get the crumbs (not horrifically#, and now the toast wont stay down at all. The toaster is only about 16 mos old. It does toast very nicely and fairly quickly. But not really worth the money I paid for it. And one really really odd stupid thing. . . the cord comes out from under one of the front corners! #?)

Après 2 mois (utilisation seulement le weekend), il a cessé de fonctionner du jour au lendemain, sans raison. Il est tout en plastique, très cheap... Et du temps qu'il a fonctionné, même au niveau 1, les toasts étaient toujours trop grillées. Achat à éviter.
