    Nice stable rack. Good value for bucks. Tried many cheaper one and similar price ones in past but this one I like most slide to its stability.

    Easy to build but only good for shoes

    This rack is quite easy to build and holds many pairs of shoes. However, the rows are too close together for any boots or high top sneakers, which only fit on top row.

    Q: Are these stackable?

    • A: Yes - if you're not afraid to work with and use some good epoxy glue and a few wooden paint stirring sticks like I did (see picture attached). In addition to applying the glue on the top surface of each of the two wooden frames of the bottom rack, I also took 4 wooden paint stirring sticks (from Canadian Tire's paint department) to glue 2 sticks on the inside and outside of each "seam" (where the bottom of the wooden frame of one rack sits on the top of the other) to make it steadier. Took me and my 9 year old son 20 minutes from opening the boxes, assembling each rack (2 total), gluing them together as I wrote, clamping until glue has set and dried (10 minute epoxy) when I removed the clamps and could use it as I intended. Very simple and easy to do, and the result is very steardy and clean looking (you can stain the paint sticks to match the colour of the rack, but I didn't bother).

    • A: What are you planning on doing with it? It's sturdy enough for a shoe rack based on my user of it (putting shoes on the shelves of the rack)...
