Best money spent

Bought this for my 18 month old son. He loves it! I found the quad way easier for him to learn the concept of steering, rather than ride-ons that use a wheel. Had a problem with reverse not working, and the one time low didn't work either. Nothing is wrong with it, you just have to take the seat cover off to get to the battery and look for the little fuse switches (black with a button) attached to the different wires. It is just a safety so that no damage can come to the gears. First time it happened I thought, "oh great one week and it is already broken!". Took a look and pressed the fuse box button to the wiring for whatever gear was not working, and presto! working again :) They should put in the instruction manual that this happens often and how to fix it.
Honestly the best money I have spent on my son. He loves it and goes all over the place! When over at a friend's house, we brought along his quad so that he can play with the other kids on their side by side powerwheels. All the kids fought over the quad and the side by side was left parked and forgotten.

Bought this for a birthday present and within a month low gear and reverse did not work. Returned it and got a replacement. The first day my grandson rode it the same thing happened. Went once around the block, put it in reverse twice and it stopped working. Would not recommend this 4 wheeler to anyone.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Yes it works well on grass and can handle small hills and some rough terrain like roots etc... Works best in the fast gear. Will spin out on gravel when you first start off. Works on short grass the best.

A: It depends on the size of your child. My son is 18 months old, but is very tall for his age and can reach everything fine.Took him a few times and some help for other kids and parents showing him, but he got the concept in by 18 months and was cruising all over the place. Around obstacles and over rough terrain, and only drives it in the fast gear! If it is in the slow gear he stops and flicks the switches because he thinks something is wrong :) He still needs help to know what all the switches do and when to use them, but tries.
