Q: Can I use this product in my hot tub? The product is Aquarius pH Booster Product #81-3173-6.

A: The answer I think they were looking for is yes, of course you can it's exactly the same product in a larger bottle for less money. Sodium Carbonate (washing soda) is used to raise just the pH without affecting the Total alkalinity. If your total alkalinity is out, add the Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) first to raise that, then balance with this or washing soda if needed."

Q: is it Sodium Carbonate? Normally Sodium carbonate is used as a ph booster. It's a safe product. Should be marked on bottle.
