Q: What is the difference between the Anchor Hocking blue lid container and the red lid container?

A: The price. I don't know why but the red ones often go on sale but we wanted the blue ones. So we waited over a year for them to go on sale. Didn’t happen so we finally paid full price. I have no idea why they would only put red ones on sale and not the blue ones.

Q: How to obtain warranty on this product? Is the receipt needed? I purchased this set less than one year ago, and the 7 cup bowl has chipped in several places. Large chips. How does the warranty work if I have misplaced/discarded my receipt?

I bought this a month ago and two of the containers have started shedding glass shards. Hand wash only, gentle use. I bought these because I don’t want plastic and am trying to be eco friendly, but I think I’ll have to throw them out as I can’t have glass in my food.
