This, quite simply, is a clearly superior product. From the excellent design of the aluminum extrusions used in the frame, through the excellent fit and finish, to the quality of the parts, fittings and assembly, there is not one aspect of this step stool that is anything less than first class. In use it is very light, extremely stable and solid, and easy to open and close. It folds into a very flat, slim configuration that is easy to store. Ours slides perfectly between the fridge and the wall. In every way far ahead of the tubular steel types. Strongly recommended.
