great space

I found it on sale which makes it a great buy for the space, I have 8 guns in it and dont think you would want to put any more in, I also have a few misc. items in as well , was easy to put gun holders and shelf in , very smart looking as well as functional

Meets requirements for safe storage law

I bought this on sale at 50% off normal retail. At that cost it's worth it. Makes a decent storage cabinet, but if you own expensive, high quality firearms, don't try to get 14 in there. 8 will fit nicely without banging into each other on removal or return to storage.

Door fell off

Like the title says, the door fell off on the first day. Purchased this morning, added the accessories, bolted it to the wall, loaded it up. All seemed well until I remembered I forgot to store a couple of mag's in it. Opened it up and the door literally fell off under its own weight. The piano hinge is attached with 8 spot welds that all had a complete lack of fusion.
I am sure CT will make this right, but it's a pain to return. This is likely a isolated issue that is not typical of the product, but if you have it, or are going to get it, give the door a workout before trusting it to keep anyone away from you firearms.
If it was fabricated properly it would be a good buy at 50% off. Did not buy this item because I was worried about theft of my guns, got it to keep little fingers away. Be cautious.

Good for the money

Bought as my first gun cabinet. Got it half price and for that i find it more than resonable. Has a decent weight to it to discourage theft. Can also be bolted to either floor or wall or both. Shelf is small but is slightly forward to allow for longer guns on the back wall, smart. The lock and keys feel much heftier and solid than expected and contrary to previous posts, the barrel rests screw in with two screws each and feel quite secure as a bonus they also come with scope stand offs. If found on sale, in my opinion you can't ask for much more without stepping up big time in price.

great for price

bought on sale and was satisfied with quality, liked the fact I only had to attach shelf and barrel rests inside and bolt to wall . had it out of box, bolted to wall and guns in it in half hour. as others have said the plastic barrel rests are good and meets legal requirements for storing firearms

A: The total weight unpacked is 68 lbs. This is a storage locker/cabinet not a safe. It does comply with firearm storage regs.
