This stuff really works!!! I sprayed my RV rooftop air conditioner coil; it was amazing. The dirt that came out was gross. Now my air conditioner is running so much better. I recommend this product.

Not as illustrated

The picture they show online is not the same can - the top cover in the pic is used to straighten the fins before or after cleaning. They have the wrong pic up for over a year - and twice I have traveled to the store thinking maybe the updated the cover and the pic was actually correct. Silly me for hoping they had fixed this error over the period of a year. Straightening the fins is a very important step in cleaning the coils - every other brand I have ever seen has the fin straightening cap. Probably cost an extra few cents so it was dropped from this cheaper product - but is a significant waste of time for anyone who expects to see the correct cap on the product as illustrated in their website.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Self rinsing? The description is confusing- saying it is “self rinsing” but then to spray and rinse. Which is it? And it it needs to be rinsed off, with what that won’t damage a ductless split system. Thanks.

  • A: I had to rinse.  I used a lawn and garden sprayer with a good sponge and towels to catch the water when cleaning the inside unit of my ductless/split air conditioner.

Q: can this be used to clean refrigerator condense coil?

  • A: It worked on an air conditioner which had condenser coils. Sprayed it in a drainage hole & on the exposed coils. Black sludge oozed out of the machine. Dirt & mold I’m guessing. The product made it run better & removed musty smell. It was extremely messy tho & am glad I did it outside.

Q: Can I use this on my Mini split unit inside , I usually use Viper Non-Rinsing Coil Cleaner but this is cheaper so not sure .

Q: Would this clean dirt and mould out of my through the wall AC? Looking for something to remove an unpleasant mildew like odour from the unit. I am clueless on how to use this and what to do...Thanks!

  • A: I had a bad problem with mold in my RV AC unit last summer. This stuff might help with getting rid of dirt, but it didn't help at all with my mold problem. After a few other things that also didn't help, I finally got rid of the problem with Concrobium Mold Control (available at CT and most other hardware stores). That stuff worked perfectly.
