Awesome sensivity, lightweight and looks good

This rod is just awesome, very sensitive i feel everything from bugs hitting the line over the water to rocks on the bottom, its super lightweight and portable being 2 pieces.
Casts way further than my other aeroglass (which is a cheaper rod) the casts are super smooth and retrieves also i “tested” it when my hook got stuck on the shore’s bottom and it feels pretty solid on pulls

I would like to add, those bad reviews with rod snapping made me feel like there was something wrong with the owners rather than the rod, made some research and CONFIRMED my approximate idea.
Misuse was their probable cause without admitting or knowing
Because i personally knew a few things about graphite and carbon and tought ....this is strong material but “impact” fragile.
I suspected their rods may have not been handled properly or they may have hit/struck them somewhere without realising it, thus weakening the rod even if it wouldnt “show” then break on first “bigger” tension or either high-sticking the pole
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not a good rod reel okay

Bought this 4 months ago rod snapped dealing in a 2 lb fish clean break no splinters no reason for it to snap either, no matter how much I tighten the handle on the reel it continuously comes loose which could cause you to lose a fish do not recommend at all. Horrible rod poor price point for quality given would not recommend at all. Would give 0 stars if possible. Will be sticking to ugly stik from now on

Great combo, until it breaks

I had this rod for roughly 6 months, caught dozens of fish, multiple species including some big carp and channel cats, loved the combo and it's a steal on sale. However it broke midcast on me. Warrantied it at the store no problem, second one also broke within a few months after very little use. Pretty bummed, I've always had good luck with Abu Garcia. Reel is great however.

Good combo for the price.

Bought this combo yesterday. First cast I was impressed with the distance I could get. Line cam off the reel very nicely. Rod seems nice and sensitive. Only thing I noticed that I didn't like was the plastic threads on the reel seat might be an issue keeping the reel seated properly.

Good reel, not so good rod

I love the reel on this combo but the rod has snapped on me. Luckily there was a warranty of a year on it. They gave me a new rod and within two months it snapped again. I got my money back that time and bought a new rod and reel. If your gonna get this combo just get the reel and another rod that won’t snap.
No, I do not recommend this product.
