Don't fall for these PC speakers - you will be disappointed. Sound is very weak and any improvement over internal speakers is negligible. I bought and returned item the same week without second guessing myself. I have nothing good to say except they have a nice design. Indeed, a quite misleading product.

Good speakers for fair price

Needed cheap speakers 2 years ago for daughter's computer. Bought 'em. Worked well enough to buy a pair yesterday for myself. If you're not looking for anything to rock the house down, these are dependable speakers. Like the fact that they are USB plug-ins and no bulky extra wall plug to worry about.
