I just bought this for my girlfriend and thought the price was decent. Not even halfway through assembly and you can see the faults in the designs. The metal slats are fragile. They warp and bend. The notches on the wooden are too thin for the metals to fit. The same goes for the notches for the nails. Notches are meant to give one an advantage and not to make it more infuriating. This product is sh*te. I would not recommend it.

J'ai demandé et j'ai reçu le casier à bouteilles dans un échange de cadeaux. Oui, il faut assembler avec un maillet et un marteau, mais c'est tout ce que ça prend. Si les fentes du bois étaient plus grosses, ce serait lousse, mais avec le maillet ça va bien et pour les clous, on utilise un plus petit marteau (genre ceux pour les enfants) et on donne plusieurs petits coups plutôt qu'un ou deux gros coups et ça ne crochie pas. Si on respecte les étapes (il y a vraiment un ordre à respecter pour les clouer les rails qui bloquent la structure à l'arrière) c'est très solide. La guide n'est pas super explicite, vous pouvez regarder la vidéo de montage sur internet. Avant, j'utilisais les boîtes à vin en carton de la SAQ et quand je prenais une bouteille du dessous, celles du dessus affaissaient la boîte; maintenant je n'ai plus de problèmes; très satisfait.

Forget the nails, use screws, bit of a task getting all the spacers and structure to line up but hey...who has more fun than people.

Très difficile à assembler. Matériaux de mauvaise qualité et contrôle de qualité déficient. Les rainures dans le bois ne sont pas tout à fait de la bonne taille ce qu’il fait qu’on doit forcer énormément. Les trous pré percés sont croche: les clous ont donc tendance à crocheter et le bois fend. Le métal pli facilement. Quand vous aurez réussi l’épreuve de patience et usé de l’entièreté de votre répertoire de jurons, rangez vos 15 bouteilles et buvez un bon coup pour vous calmer.

We assembled this tonight. The nails kept bending. The metal supports bent. It was a fair bit of work to put together. We had an extra wood post in our package. All in all, we kept because it is the right size. Not pretty. Just functional.

Q: Can you stack these racks on top of each other to accomodate more bottle storage?

A: I wouldn't recommend stacking these on top of each other because they don't have a flat top or bottom. However, I think you would be able to set them vertically side by side and mount them to the wall for approximately the same dimension of storage space, depending on your needs.

A: I don't have a bottle of Jack in my bar right now, but I think it'd be really tight, if it fit at all. It fits a 1.14L round bottle alright but the square-shaped JD probably runs into the wood dividers.

Q: is it possible to get full dimensions of the product assembled ? Can we stretch it while assembling to get two bottles on top of each other and gain more lengh?

A: Assembled dimensions for the item are: Size H52cm, D21cm, W23cm. The steel is cut in such a way, you would need to assemble according to what’s advertised.
