Tire Mounting Service was Great, Tires Good

Bought new truck tires a month ago - so far so good! Service was prompt and thorough, especially since mounting nuts for new wheels (replaced when tires were done) were non-standard, so new ones had to be found. Pressure sensors were a problem, but technicians managed to get them to work with no extra cost to me. Would give a 4.5 if possible, but would want to evaluate winter performance before giving a 5.

Tires no good

I would leave no stars, but as usual that is not an option. Booked an appointment with an Edmonton store for the following day as the tires were in stock. Show up for a 10 am appt only to be told the tires wouldnt be there until 11 am. Re-booked the appt for 130 pm. Show up on time and am told it would be 2 hours. Phone call almost an hour and a half later saying that one of my rims is bent as one cannot be balanced. I tell the person that none of the rims are bent it must be the tire. I dont hear anything for another hour when I show back up at the store and am told that 3 out of the 4 Cooper tires were defective and they were able to bring more in tomorrow. I was from out of town and that wouldnt work. I had to wait another hour and a half for them to put my old tires back on. Tried looking for other comparable tires in local stores and there was zero inventory for any all weather tires, anywhere!!! Not a very good interaction with Canadian Tire or the Cooper tires!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have had these Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT tires for about a month, and so far I am very impressed. Of course, most new tires feel better at first, and there may be a little of that involved, but these genuinely seem to be very good tires. The additional tire warranty was surprisingly inexpensive, so I purchased that as well. Combined with my roadside assistance, I now feel much safer and more secure on the road. As a new senior, that peace of mind means a great deal to me. Thank you, Canadian Tire. I did experience a problem with one of my tire-pressure sensors and had to return to have it replaced after it failed. With approximately 150,000 kilometres on the vehicle, the original sensors were clearly well worn, and I feel I should have been advised that replacing all of them at the same time might have been worthwhile. That inconvenience was manageable, and in hindsight, I probably should have replaced all four sensors when the tires were installed. At least now, should I have any tire-related trouble, there is only one place I need to go.

I like the look of these tires. So far, they are quiet and handle well. I can’t comment on durability, but tire installation went well. My only complaint is the online order system. I was given a date that my order would be in my store and I would receive an email when they arrived. Unfortunately, I waited 3 weeks after the original date of delivery. The order still said in progress. I went to the store to inquire and I was told the tires were already at the store but I was never informed. So, I waited nearly a month for my order. I was told that they were experiencing glitches with the on line order system.
