Gorilla Double sided waterproof tape

a month ago

Two metal strips guide strips on the walk in shower, previously adhered by silicone, dislodged. After cleaning the strips and shower base of silicone, I decided to use Gorilla double sided tape. After carefully placing the tape onto the strips, I managed to position the strips. I applied hand pressure and they seem to be holding quite well. Time will tell how well the tape works.

Q: What is best way to remove tape?. Hopefully there is a easy trick to use.

A: Gorilla Mounting Tape is a permanent tape and may cause surface damage or leave a residue if the object is removed. If the object must be removed, we suggest prying from one edge. Slowly stretch the tape at an angle parallel with the surface it is attached to. Solvents or adhesive remover products may be helpful in removing leftover adhesive. Make sure to follow solvent manufacturer's directions and always test an inconspicuous area to ensure that surface or finish is not damaged.
