Product Details

The Michelin X-Ice® SNOW Winter Tire For Passenger & CUV is engineered for winter driving excellence with specialized features to ensure your vehicle grips the road securely in snowy and icy conditions. Manufactured from an optimized rubber compound that extends the tire’s tread life for up to an extra season over most competitors, the Michelin X-Ice Snow Tire provides superior braking, handling, and longevity for the ultimate in cold-weather performance.

Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

  • MaxTouch tread technology maximizes road contact for superior traction and handling

  • Intelli-Grip technology resists hydroplaning and improves traction on snow, slush and ice

  • Tread design bites into ice and snow while maintaining flexibility in freezing temperatures for better grip

  • Designed for a quiet and comfortable ride with great fuel efficiency

  • Delivers longer tread life over leading competitors for increased value

  • Wheels sold separately

Satisfied customer

I had a slashed tire due to a pothole early in the morning. I took my damaged tire to Canadian Tire store, and the service person was great. They took my tire and replaced it with a new one and charged me according to the pro-rating. I am a satisfied customer.

Transformed my FWD Lexus into a different beast!

I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to for these tires. They have brought and my family home same time and time again. I actually bought these tires used off Facebook marketplace (decent bit of tread over the winter wear tread marker) for my 2003 Lexus ES300 with fair expectations. But I can wholeheartedly say these tires definitely SURPASSED my expectations. They transformed my FWD sedan into a winter beast. Slush, deep snow, even some ice you name it. I’ve driven in all winter conditions and haven’t experienced anything under stellar traction. These tires have given me the confidence to venture out in my vehicle in the snow. I no longer feel the need to stay home when it’s bad out or take my AWD SUV. These tires have been a game changer and life saver. If you think you need AWD, think again - you just need the right tire. Michelin X Ice. Michelin has me as a customer for life. I will definitely purchase them again, new. Almost 30cm+ in as of now in the snowstorm of January 25 2026 and I was able to get out of and into my driveway on a slope with minimal effort. Buy these and don’t twice !

Yes, I recommend this product.

Michelin X-Ice for Trucks Should be Illegal

They're spectacular for cars. And so pathetic on trucks they should be illegal. New on my truck are a fair bit worse than a set 3 years old on my car. 100% regret getting them for my truck, will continue getting them for the car.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: my 2007 jetta has 16" rims. this website only offers 15" tires for my vehicle. will all these 15 inch tires fit on my 16" rims?

  • A: You will have to find the 16" tire to fit your car. If you look on the side of your tire you will find the tire size. should be a P (for passenger)and 3 digit number follower by 2 digits for a profile number and 16 for the rim size (P225-60R16 for example) once you find that number search by tire size.

Q: Are all weather tires different than all season tires? If so, what is the difference?

Anonymous2 days ago
2 Answers
  • A: Please see Michelin's definition: All-season tires are designed for mild conditions and very light winter use. All-weather tires are built to handle year-round driving including moderate winter use, with better snow and cold-weather performance (as they are 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) rated), but will not replace a true dedicated winter tire for extreme conditions (heavy snow and ice).
