What are the different types of tethers and tying products?

The four main types of tying products include:

Ropes are made from braided strands of material like cotton or plastic and are useful for a wide range of indoor and outdoor projects, from dragging or lifting loads to hanging items or tying off boats and watercraft.

Chains are made from looped lengths of metal, which makes them stronger than rope and better suited to hanging or lifting objects.

Cables are made from braided strands of metal, typically steel, which makes them very durable and strong, and can be used for towing, hoisting, and securing heavy cargo and light structures.

Twine is made from twisted strands of fiber, is thinner than rope, and is most often used in crafting, gardening, and hanging light objects.
