Great value ! Once sharpened right up, holds an edge and is a solid, very good value for the money product.

I bought this on sale. I use it more than other knife that I paid more because of its thickness of blade and its design.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Good Knife

I have had this knife now for about 6 years. I have used it many times, and has been a good sturdy tool of great use. It saved me one day when I had a tire blow out, and the rod to turn my jack was missing. I used the knife (closed) to stick in the slot, and was able to turn the jack screw. The 4 stars is because the knife has started to come apart, obviously from a lot of strenuous work (prying) I have to squeeze it back together, but it pops back together (it doesn't come completely apart, just gets loose) I would buy another one, at this price point.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great little knife

I received this as a Christmas Present from my parents last year and I love it! I took it travelling in Europe and used it frequently and it's still going strong! I haven't had to sharpen it, or tighten the blade. Definitely worth the price.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: Do you need a hunting license to carry this in public places? I read that you will need a hunting license to carry any knife over 4 inches. Does this count or do I have to get the 3 inch one?

    • A: Canadian Tire has confirmed with law enforcement that there is no provincial or federal legislation that addresses hunting license requirements or blade length restrictions for carrying knives. However, even where knives may be legally carried on the person generally, this right may not extend to all places and circumstances. The Criminal Code for example, includes prohibitions relating to the carrying of concealed weapons, as well as the possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes. Municipalities may enact their own by-laws and therefore Canadian Tire advises that individuals check with their local law enforcement agency to ensure that licensing and compliance requirements are met for their jurisdiction.
