Nice size mower. Engine is quiet. When you engage the blades it can be loud but otherwise I do think it was a good purchase.

decided to purchase a new rideon mower went to CTC lots in stock all the same unit. mower is good working machine simple to run shift on the go is a good feature controls are in easy to access location

HARD STARTING ( MADE IN CHINA) ENGINE

Bought this product a month ago.Refuses to start when cold (requires priming)cuts out Iess than 5 min operation (possible vapor lock) but starts when primed with a bit of gas in the air intake runs barely long enough to make it back to the garage before cutting out again.Garbage!! Pls note this is the worst engine after a lifetime of owning at least 20 small engines.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great lawn tractor

I bought this 17.5 hp yard works tractor 13 years ago, I do regular maintenance like change the oil and grease the wheels and sharpen the blades every year. Winter storage includes fogging the carberator and taking the battery out to store in the basement. It has been flawless since the day I bought it and would recommend it to anyone ! Thanks to Perth Canadian Tire with my purchase.

I Bouth this tractor the beginning of summer .Already add to replace the belt after maybe 7 time out . I add to bring the tractor to change the belt .I just use it twice since then .And the belt already show some damage . If i could i will return it . Really not satisfied . Pay a little bit more for a better machine..

Q: Yardworks 420cc 38" Lawn Tractor #60-0192-8. This is the end of my 3rd season for grass cutting. The last 3 or 4 times after cutting the grass for 1/2 to 3/4 hr. the mower starts throbbing (engine cutting out) and quits after about a minute. Help

A: It turns out that the carburator failed. I received a case number (085 03424) and took it in to a recommended shop for repair. When I went to pick up the mower I had to pay the $183.74 repair bill to get the mower back. The repair bill was reasonable in my opinion but if it was under warranty it should have been covered. The mower has given me good service so far but be wary of the warranty coverage.

A: Thank you for your question. This popular tractor uses a proven pinion and segment steering setup with with conventional tie rod. You'll find the automotive caster/camber setup of the front axle provides for minimal effort with a tight turning radius while not damaging the turf. Power steering is not required and tends to be offered only on much larger garden tractors intended for heavy front-load use.

A: Thank you for your question. While the 420cc OHV engine has enough power to handle a snow thrower attachment, the frame of this tractor is not ideally suited for the task. Consider the next YardWorks model #060-1805-6 or Troy-Bilt model #060-1877-4 for convenient fit and operation with a snow thrower (MTD model # OEM-190-032).

A: Thank you for your question. This compact tractor would not be the best choice for use with a dozer blade. Consider models with a minimum 547cc engine such as the Troy-Bilt models, Canadian Tire items 60-1877 and 60-1878 which would work well with MTD Products 46" dozer blade model 19A30017OEM.

A: Thank you for your question. To get the convenience of seamlessly mowing in forward and reverse consider the Yardworks 42" tractor item number 60-1805. This 38" model mows only in forward drive.
