I love this little guy!

I've used it a half dozen times since purchasing it a few weeks back and I'm very happy with it. To be clear: I purchased it to compliment our larger snowblower rather than replace it. In this part of Canada a bigger snow blower will always be a necessity in my opinion. But this little guy is so much lighter, and easier to start and manoeuvre. And I can even bring it right onto our large wooden deck in the backyard to clear it. It's also easier for my wife to use if I'm at work. I keep the battery inside as directed, and so far it has operated without issue every time, for the 45-60 minutes that I need to clear all of our surfaces.

Beyond my expectations! (Note: have only used once)

So after reading the reviews, the description on the box, etc. I thought I was in for a budget snow thrower that would kick the can in about 30-40 minutes. Well, just had the Toronto snow dump of about 10-15 cm, and that baby took it all! I even (with a little evil intent) made a 2 foot mound of snow, but it ate through it steadily and surely! So right out the box, charged it up, and it ate through an average height of 15 cm of snow, for about 50 feet by 10 feet, and kept on going for 45 minutes. I was impressed! And my neighbours, who were also outside, didn't even hear it until they were standing beside me. Ultimately, I gave it 5 stars because it went beyond what the box said it was rated for, it got the job done that I needed it to do, the price was on point, the quietness, and the portability. The little note is that I have only used it once so far (I'm writing the review right after I just used it) so I hope that it keeps on performing tomorrow with the next dumping of snow!

Works well

I bought this at the end of November and finally had a chance to use it when we finally got around 3" of snow. works well, light, easy. I did my entire driveway and still have 1/2 the charge left in the battery. (I have a double width drive). I hope it works just as well with deeper snow.

Q: Hi, I just bought one, how long i need to charge the battery for the 1st time? Can I charge it again when the battery is half full? How do I take care of the battery during summer time?

1 Answer
  • A: Hello Stephani, Thank you for your question. Yes, the battery is lithium ion and can be recharged at any state as it does not have memory. when storing and charging your battery ensure temperature is between 43-100 °F 6-40 °C. Store the battery when not in use in a dry, cool and well ventilated area. It is recommended to remove your battery from your charger when not in use. Once the battery charger indicates a full charge it is recommended to disconnect the charger from the power source and remove battery pack from charger. Please also be advised we do offer a range of lawn care tools that use the same battery. If you would like to learn more about the compatible tools we offer, please contact us at 1-866-523-5218. We're happy to help.
