Yamaha Snow Bike Sled

i was exited with the purchase but the assembly was a nightmare.The 3 bolts to attach the seat to the chassis were the wrong lengths,They would not tighten down.After numerous attempts , had to purchase the proper sized bolts.Also there was one decal missing. Not pleased at all with the assembly.If it wasn't for the fact that it was a Xmas present for my grandson, I would have returned it to the store.

I bought this cool Snow Bike sled for my 8 years old son's Birthday and he loves it so much. It was fairly easy to put it together, seems pretty sturdy, and stop well. Great buy.

Having purchased the Arctic Slider for my Son for Christmas, and watching the kids fight over the use of it, I needed another one. Unfortunately the Arctic Slider was sold out at my Canadian Tire and Yamaha Snow Bike was on sale so I picked it up. My first impression was that the sled would be nice and sturdy since the frame is one solid piece, but I was a little worried about all the plastic and my worries turned out to be justified. The first night using it, both of the "hand protectors" snapped off. Then the stickers that I so diligently put in place started to come off. This is what really ticked me off, because it took about an hour to put them on. The one redeeming quality with this sled is it's speed, but that also hinders it. It isn't balanced properly and because the rider sits so far back it is hard to steer. I have a kind of half pipe built at the bottom of our hill for the kids to have an extra place to go after they go down the hill, but this thing is impossible to steer around. If I could do it again, I would have purchased two Arctic Sliders and will probably get another one next winter because this one just doesn't cut it. All the kids think the Yamaha Snow Bike looks cool, but they all agree that the traditional Arctic Slider is the winner. As you can see in the pictures attached to my review, the hand protectors are gone, and if you look on the right hand side of the seat, stickers are missing and peeling.

Bought for my 4 yr old grandchild. I agree stickers diagram are tricky to understand but other than that usual build it yourself item. The plastic isn't so rigid will probably be able to withstand flips. It's build quite tiny which was good as she's only 4. My son said she went down hill on her own almost immendiatly and loved it so much. It is a awesome looking item we used some of the left over chrome sticker paper to customize hers a little differently. I got a "You did great Grandma"

Sled looks and works great. Be prepared to completely assemble (approximately 45-60 minutes). Stickers are confusing with poor instructions. Be prepared to spend another 20-30 minutes installing stickers. Clip on pull out cord too difficult for a child to remove and replace every time they pull their sled up a hill. The clip will be lost in no time. This feature is poorly designed.
