Woods™ Men's Snowshoes, 25-in

The ratchet binding system is garbage. They do not stay snug. I exchanged for another pair and had the same fate.

I cannot say enough about the MOZ ratchet binding system. It's life-changing for anyone who loves to snowshoe. A quick twist and your boots are comfortably set. Fits like a glove. These are very lightweight and can be worn with ease all day long. I highly recommend these and no matter if your a men or women they work perfectly for both.

Binding system is very easy to use and works well. It fit very well on my shoes, however my big winter boots (Kamik size 12) were very tight and the binding did not close up properly. It is very easy and quick to disengage the bindings. I'm not sure how well the bindings will stand up to years of abuse. Heel lift feature is nice and works well on hills. I did have it disengage on me a few times and it is a bit difficult to engage with gloves on Crampons are nice and big and work well on ice The bag is quite cheap and will be torn with use The 25" size is good for packed trails but for unpacked powder I would get a bigger shoe. I was sinking up to my knee in fresh powder snow with these. I do like the binding but it is very tight on my boots. The heel lift is nice but I think it could use a stronger detent as it did collapse on me a few times. The bag is quite cheap. The snowshoes are quite light and nice looking. I found the plastic material quite slippery on semi-packed surfaces and noticed each step my foot would slip to the side as the crampons were not helping on this semi-packed surface. The crampons do work well on ice. For less than $160 you can get snowshoes, a bag and poles so it would be nice to have poles included. I would recommend picking these up on sale if you are looking for some shoes for trails, maybe try the 30" ones if you are going off-trail. Just make sure your boots will fit the bindings.

These snowshoes were much smaller than previous pairs I had tried, which was nice for hiking along single track areas. The strap mechanism made them really easy to take on and off which I liked. The only negative to these is that the back strap came off my hiking boots a few times when I didn't have it set high enough. Had I worn trimmer shoes (mine are bulky), I don't think this would have been a problem. There was a wide range of adjustability to the straps, so these should fit all men's shoe sizes up to about a 13. I recommended these to my brother in law to purchase as he was looking to get some so we could snowshoe together with the kids.
