    The pots are all perfect size. Small one and frypan for camping, larger ones for home (think pasta night!). They seem to be good quality...we'll find out when we're camping.

    Bought on clearance for $99, I am glad I did. I have only used them once for front country camping, and they worked great. Nice thick bottoms keep even heat like a good quality set of kitchen pots and pans. The pots nest inside one another and frying pan sits upside down on top for ease of space, with a separate squeeze handle used for the frying pan and small saucepan/pot. Frying pan has non stick coating, worked great for eggs. I would use a silicone spatula or silicone tongs for the frying pan, as metal would likely scratch the coating, I am assuming it’s teflon. Keep some folded over paper towel or cut a piece of towel or something to place inside the frying pan to keep the other lids from scratching the coating when nested and traveling. Super happy with this set, hopefully I don’t lose the frying pan/saucepan handle. The carry bag will likely not last as long as the set.

    Q: can this set be used directly over the fire?

    • A: In addition, I would not use the black teflon pan directly on fire, as it is likely to become too hot for the finish. Deeper pans don't have such coating.
