Q: Fire Box Size?? Whats the size of the firebox?
10 years agoA: The standard used in our industry to measure firebox size is cubic feet. The model in question has a 1.9 cu.ft overall firebox size and is equipped to accept an 18” length of firewood.

Q: Is this a zero clearance wood stove?
10 years agoA: The term zero clearance refers to a fireplace that is built into a combustible wall space and includes stand-offs or brackets to maintain a “zero clearance” to a combustible material. This terminology does not apply to a free standing wood stove as they are designed to be installed into a finished living space. In the case of a free standing wood stove, we test for reduced clearances to a combustible wall space either behind or beside the appliance in order to determine safe installation of the product. Therefore you will see that this model is approved for reduced clearances but are governed by the distances they were tested to.
