I ended using it for a different purpose

I used them to measure out my cupcake batter and found that it did not poor out of the measure nicely or evenly. I now use them as dry goods scoops.

Handy addition

These work excellent for their intended purpose. The rim is similar to a spatula which makes it very easy to scoop every last bit out of your bowl. The sizes are perfect for various sizes of muffin tins and the shape makes it easy to use a spoon to empty into the tins.

you need another spoon or utensil to get the batter out...better option is to use an ice cream scoop!
