This tv is garbage right out of the box. Factory reset the tv multiple times. The remote works once in a while. The tv turns on with no sound or a green screen. You have turn it on and off multiple times to get sound and picture. Huge waste of money. It's embarrassing to something like this on the market.

Bought this TV about a week ago and overall we are not impressed. The picture and sound quality are good. However, the apps often freeze requiring restart of the TV, the remote disconnects after being idle for just a few minutes and you have to wait for the reconnect, and casting to the TV is glitchy. At one point we contacted Westinghouse customer service and they were TERRIBLE. We asked a simple functionality question about adding apps, the type of thing usually answered in the FAQs. They insisted I provide an extensive amount of information before they would answer any question (personal info, date/location of purchase, model, serial #, etc). I'm looking into whether I can return this item. One thing is sure, I will not purchase from Westinghouse again.

Beware of dimensions

We purchased this television this morning and set it up. So far so good with the clarity and available functions as advertised, however, we noticed that it was the same width as our old television and we purchased or thought we purchased a 50" television. When I called the store to question the dimensions, I was told that the measurements are taken from corner to corner not the width of the television....so instead of a 50" we actually bought a 44" television if you measure from left to right (the common sense way to measure). Be aware when you puchase.

Q: Y does the video freeze on netflix when you pause it but the audio keeps running.... Youtube doesn't not open sometimes..also have problems turning on the tv with its remote, have to press the power button several times on the remote.
