Charging alarm clock

Clock works and charges phones wirelessly. Big problem is that it doesn't stay dim when set that way manually. It reverts automatically to preset brightnesses which are too bright in my opinion. Manufacturer should provide an override to change to one setting selected by owner.

Have to take your case off phone to charge. You can dim or turn off night light but not time, that should happen concurrently. Returned it.

Alarm clock was great for wireless charging as well the extra usb I was impressed with the multiple adjustments for display brightness, I got mine on sale which was good value as well I thought.

A: Actually...no...you can't turn off the charging base...you can just turn off the time display with the "-" button on the side...my mistake.

A: Hi Cherry. Good morning and thank you for your interest in our Westclox Wireless Charging Large LED Digital Alarm Clock with Dimmable Night Light. In terms of the clock having a built-in battery, it does not have one. To operate this clock, it is charged via the USB port. (1 AMP) However, if there is a power outage you can also use the backup battery feature for power that this clock comes with by using 2 AA batteries. FYI: the batteries that are required are 2 AA batteries which are not included.
