Quick fix for residential plumbing

Old plastic fitting started leaking and tightening made it worse. Had used the push n’connect units in the past and they are still working fine!! I shut off the water supply and removed old fitting; clean copper pipe with 320 paper and wiped clean.Repeated the process with the plastic tubing. Pushed the new fitting firmly onto each pipe. To be sure of a tight fit; I held each pipe and simultaneously pushed them firmly towards each other. There was a final “click” and now I could turn on the water supply. A final check and all was dry (no leaking)!!! A simple solution without a lot of tools and no soldering!!
