Consider other options

This item was not worth the cost. The amount of overspray is very surprising in the large volume, furthermore the unit is not east to use from a ladder. Coverage per bottle fill is less than expected. I tested it against a roller, the roller covered better with less material (no thinning required) but the sprayer required less effort.

Coverage and adjustment that is perfect for what I needed it for, I love this thing. And still has plenty of life left. I love how it completely disassembles for cleaning

Great sprayer! I stained a large shed wall (12' x 20') from an extension ladder in less than one hour. It would have taken me all day with a brush and I couldn't have got the stain into cracks in the wood like I did with the sprayer. Cleanup was easy and quick. There are excellent utube videos on proper cleaning which I recommend.

Q: The description states: Compatible with a variety of materials, from stains to some paints. Please explain what "some" refers to. What types specifically.

A: The Control Painter will spray interior latex paints and thinner primers. Any other paints will probably need to be thinned with water. Adding paint conditioner is advantageous because it helps the paint or primer flow better. If you need further assistance feel free to call us at 1-800-328-8251
