Not well designed

I guess it basically works - but barely. Three major design problems I can think of.
-Buttons are too small. It's actually hard to dial unless you have small fingertips. Lots of room there, they could've easily made them bigger.
-Both cords are fixed to the base - you can't replace either with a longer one or if damaged.
-Hook button on handset can get pressed by your face! Obviously this depends on your face shape. Ridiculous! Multiple calls ended this way, meaning this thing is unusable.

VTech Corded Phone failed

I installed the VTech Corded Phone in my garage so that I could receive calls when working in the garage. It worked when tested after the install but it failed very soon afterward without having ever received a call. I should have returned it but instead just discarded it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: No it doesn't have a headset jack. It is a basic phone like in the 'olden days' but it does come in handy when the power goes out because it only requires the phone jack to work.
