Durable for Decades

I have had my Profestsional Series 500 Vitamix for over 20 years and it still performs like new. This blender stood the test of culinary school with heavy daily use over a year. I cannot give a high enough review of this product. I use it daily and am still discovering new ways to use it and create healthy delicious food.

Professional series 500

I’m here to write a review being a long time owner. We bought the Professional Series 500 in 2010. We are a family of seven and use it nearly every day. The Vitamix works just as good today as it did on day 1. It will always be our favorite and most used appliance!

Not good as the 750

I recently purchased the 500 to replace a 750 I gave to my son. I loved the 750 and am sorry that I’ve got this one. The narrower base container means that I have had trouble breaking down frozen fruit chunks when making smoothies which never happened with the wider base container. The container also shifts when I turn the blender on... as someone else has also noted. However, I appreciate that it isn’t super noisy.

Love it....had mine for 5 years

Love mine but sometimes I wish there was a small beaker that I could use instead of the 2ltr jug. You know when you want to make one smoothie and then put a lid on the container and go out? It’s stops me using it as much as I should.

Awesome Blender

We have been using our 500 pro for years now almost daily and just love it. The plunger makes making your own nut butters awesome without having to water them down.
We also have the dry grain container and grind our own flowers.(Almond, Brown Rice...)
I'm sure glad I got this model. The smoothie preset is a must :-)
The cost might seem high but its truly worth it.
