The Vileda ProMist Max Flip Spray Mop is such a lifesaver around the home. It's perfect for quick spills, especially as a family with 3 young kids. We've had ours for a few years now and it's still going strong. I love that you can buy new mop heads, and wash the mop heads after each use for fresh cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great mop for in-between cleaning or spot cleaning. I wouldnt use it for a full mop as it doesnt work quite as well as a normal mop but its perfect for small spots that need to be cleaned quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this for a while and often let the kids do it because it’s that easy and great. Perfect for quick mopping without bending down over heavy buckets and no risk of a kid tipping over a bucket full of dirty water. Very lightweight and small enough to store pretty much in any corner. I like that I can add a touch of vinegar to make my floors really clean and shiny.

The functions are all so quick and simple to learn even for those who have never used a mop. It is also of great calibre and quality and seems super durable as well.

A: Yes, the Vileda ProMist Flat Floor Mop is a great product for hardwood floors. You can choose to fill the bottle with a cleaning chemical that is safe on hardwood floors, or you may choose to just use water.

Q: Is this mop good on laminate floors? If so, does it leave streaks on them?

A: Laminate floors usually require a special cleaning solution that is almost dry when applied (it's applied VERY sparingly). What I used to do when I had laminate was buy that special solution and then remove the bottle from the Vileda so I was just using the pad and not spraying from the unit. Mist the specialty solution on with the spray bottle it comes with, then micro-fibre it clean with the Vileda.

A: Hot tap water is fine. I wouldn't try boiling water because it might warp the plastic bottle.

A: Yes they are sold separately and you can swap them in and out. You would need a few sprays to fully get the previous solution out I'm sure.

A: In response to your inquiry, to clean unsealed floors, always ensure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions from the floors you have purchased and to the manufacturer's instructions of the chemical you want to use as well. The mop itself should not be a factor. Please do not hesitate if you need more information.
