I have purchased 2 veiled mops and they have both broken with the same problem. I have currently used my veiled mop for lightly for 6 months using a vinegar water solution. The mop continuously plugs and now it will not even spray. I wrote vileda and they gave me some suggestions on how to fix it and it didnt fix it. Do not recommend unfortunately

It leaked but there is a solution.

I bought this product about a year ago and after several use, it started leaking. I found the plastic bracket that snaps the bottle in place is of poor quality and it broke. It's not very strong. Since I did not have the receipt, I contacted Vileda directly and they were nice to reply and gave me a coupon towards my next purchase. It did not cover the full price of the mop but at least they took ownership of the problem. What I would recommend everyone who have bought/own this product is to ensure when you put the bottle in, is to press the release button first until the bottle is in place. This will not put pressure on the plastic bracket that holds it in place.

Terrible Product

Bought this item so that I could use my own natural floor cleaning products when quick-cleaning my floors. This product LEAKED right from the start! I took it apart, re-assembled it, and it worked for about ten minutes, then water poured all over my floors-had to wipe up the entire mess with paper towels. This is a cheaply made product that is a total waste of money.

R : Laminate floors usually require a special cleaning solution that is almost dry when applied (it's applied VERY sparingly). What I used to do when I had laminate was buy that special solution and then remove the bottle from the Vileda so I was just using the pad and not spraying from the unit. Mist the specialty solution on with the spray bottle it comes with, then micro-fibre it clean with the Vileda.

The mop itself should not be a factor. Please do not hesitate if you need more information.
