A: Both i have not used this yet but it prevents lots of dust from sanding because it hooks up to the vacuum!

Q: Can I hook this up to a regular bagless vaccum? I have a regular dirt devil bagless vaccume cleaner. I was wondering if I could hook this sander with it.

A: Only if the filter on the vacuum is rated to trap drywall dust particles. These are very fine particles. I would lean towards saying no. It could burn out you motor, or just get blown out the vacuum and spread farther in the house if the vacuum is in the house.

Q: Can you hook it up to a central vaccum system? Or will it blow that up too?

Q: Can this be utilized to remove pop corn ceilings ?

A: If for a very small area of popcorn ceiling possibly yes, however it would be extremely dusty, and take a long time. The real answer is that popcorn ceilings should be dampened with a mist sprayer first. Once the moisture has had a chance to absorb the texture can easily be removed with a scraper or large putty knife. Once this has been done and the ceiling has completely dried, this can be used to sand any imperfections out easily and cleanly without overloading the vacuum system.

A: The Dust-Free Sanding Kits must be used with a “Shop-type” or “Commercial” vacuum cleaner.

A: The main benefit to using our sanding kit is to keep the harmful drywall dust from dispersing throughout the room and then the homes duct work. Without a vacuum kit people will breath in a lot more of the dust. And they will be dusting for a very long time to get rid of it throughout their home.
